Help for those in the foster care system is on the way after President Donald Trump signed an executive order Thursday.
The “Fostering the Future” program, which is spearheaded by first lady Melania Trump, “brings together federal entities, nonprofits, educational institutions, and the private sector to develop those opportunities for foster youth,” Newsmax reported.
An online centralize site will help help youth connect with key career and educational resources. The will also have more access to vouchers and grants.
“I call on leadership from these various organizations, including the private sector, to join my effort,” Melania Trump said.
“Rise above the ease of inaction,” she added.
