Aspirus Opens Wausau Clinic for High-Risk Infants
Aspirus Health has opened a neonatal clinic on its Wausau campus to provide follow-up care for infants discharged from the NICU, premature or seriously ill babies, and children with developmental concerns. A multidisciplinary team will screen children at key milestones through age two, with care available for up to two or three years, to identify delays and provide early treatment when needed. Aspirus says early intervention during this period can improve developmental outcomes, including by helping detect conditions such as cerebral palsy sooner.
