AT&T Stadium Tops Haunted Sports Venue Survey

AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, was ranked the most haunted sports venue in a survey of 47 U.S. and Canadian venues by The Sports Geek, despite opening in 2009. The ranking considered factors including reported paranormal stories, venue history and age, and distance to burial sites; Arlington’s Keystone Cemetery is about a third of a mile away. Former employees have described hearing movement in an empty restroom stall, unexplained chills and accounts of dishes rising and crashing in the kitchen. The stories remain unverified, and the stadium’s construction also involved a worker’s fatal accident.
