ATV Crashes Kill Three Across Georgia, Kansas, Canada

An 8-year-old child died in an ATV crash on Pate Road in Coweta County, Georgia, on Oct. 19; state police said the southbound ATV left its lane, hit a mailbox and overturned, throwing the child from the vehicle. In Shawnee County, Kansas, 63-year-old Topeka resident Chris W. Ross died after his ATV rolled early Oct. 18 on Northeast Sherman Road; relatives and first responders attempted CPR, and the crash remains under investigation. A separate single-vehicle ATV collision near Delnite and Goldmine roads in Timmins, Ontario, killed a man on the evening of Oct. 18; police have not released his identity as their investigation continues.
