Crashes Across Four States Leave Several Injured
Separate crashes in North Carolina, Missouri, Texas and Nebraska left people hospitalized. Near Charlotte Douglas International Airport, one person was seriously injured in a Saturday morning crash on I-485; police have not said what caused it. A two-semitruck crash on westbound I-270 in north St. Louis County early Friday trapped a person beneath a trailer for about an hour before crews freed them and airlifted them to a hospital; the highway has reopened. In northwest Harris County, one person was hospitalized after a crash involving an ICE agent, and their condition was unknown. Two Omaha reports described a late-Wednesday crash near Martha Street, but differed on whether it occurred on I-80 or an I-480 entrance ramp; one reported a serious injury, while the other said one person was injured.
