Father, Son Charged in $500K Stolen-Car Scheme
Allentown father and son Jermaine Quinones Sr., 42, and Jermaine Quinones Jr., 18, face felony charges over an alleged vehicle-fraud operation in Lehigh County. Investigators say they used vehicle identification numbers and other details from legitimate vehicles to obtain fraudulent titles for stolen cars, then sold them, many through Facebook Marketplace. Authorities identified 12 vehicles sold with fraudulent paperwork between 2025 and 2026, valued at nearly $500,000. Both men face charges including corrupt organizations, theft by deception, title washing and insurance fraud; Quinones Sr. also faces a firearm charge after police allegedly found a semiautomatic rifle he was barred from possessing because of a prior felony conviction. Quinones Sr. was held on $450,000 bail, while his son was released after posting $100,000 bail.
