K-9 Apprehends Driver After 100-MPH Chase Across New Hampshire
New Hampshire State Police say Andrew McInnes, 42, of Hampton, was arrested after a high-speed pursuit that began after Maine police reported chasing his Nissan toward the state line. Police said McInnes refused to stop in Hampton, drove at speeds exceeding 100 mph through several communities despite tire-deflation devices, then crashed into a guardrail in Manchester and fled on foot. A state police K-9 apprehended him, and he was taken to a hospital for evaluation. He faces felony reckless-conduct charges and multiple other charges, including aggravated driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest and reckless driving.
