SUV Collision Kills Woman, Injures Child in Sacramento

A woman was killed and a 4-year-old child suffered minor injuries after an SUV struck them near Las Palmas Elementary School in Sacramento’s Noralto neighborhood shortly before 3:15 p.m. Sunday. Both were taken to a hospital, where the woman later died. Police located the driver and vehicle at the scene, and the circumstances of the collision remain under investigation.
