Avelo Removes Planned 2027 New Haven-Jacksonville Flights
Avelo Airlines is scaling back some routes while reshaping its network. At Wilmington International Airport in North Carolina, it has cut nine routes this year, reducing scheduled departures from 27 weekly to 11 and dropping the airport from the fourth-busiest to the 12th-busiest in its network. Separately, Avelo removed planned twice-weekly New Haven–Jacksonville flights from its 2027 schedule; the seasonal service had been set to run from March 5 to April 19. The change does not affect current flights, which are scheduled to operate through November 16, 2026, and Avelo has not stated why the 2027 service was pulled or whether it may return.
