Bank of America to add 1,000 apprentices targeting workers without degrees

Bank of America plans to hire 1,000 additional apprentices over the next two years, on top of more than 800 it brings on annually. The new roles will emphasize skills-based hiring and target people without four-year degrees, spanning areas such as consumer banking, technology and operations. The bank will also invest $150 million over five years in workforce development organizations that provide job-ready skills and connect people with career opportunities.
