Bank Pekao Selects NCR Atleos Payment Switch

Bank Pekao S.A., Poland’s second-largest universal bank, has selected NCR Atleos’ Authentic payment-switching platform to modernize the infrastructure supporting its card-payment operations. The platform will handle backend processing, authorization and routing while providing a scalable foundation for growth, operational resilience and new payment services. Authentic supports high-volume processing and features including card management, API workflows, activation, renewals and PIN management. The agreement reflects the broader shift among financial institutions in Central and Eastern Europe from legacy payment systems to more flexible, innovation-ready platforms and expands Atleos’ presence in the region.
