Canadian tourist Mitchell Fairbairn testified that after drinking 30 to 40 beers, he took Peachy, a flamingo from a Las Vegas hotel habitat, to his room as a prank and denied intending to harm the bird. He acknowledged entering the enclosure was wrong and that Peachy was hurt as he faces animal-cruelty charges.
