Beta Bionics Faces Investor Class-Action Suit

Investors have filed securities class actions against Beta Bionics alleging that the company and executives misled shareholders from July 30, 2025, through February 24, 2026, about safety and regulatory concerns involving its iLet automated insulin pump. The complaints allege that the company minimized an FDA Form 483 inspection notice as a matter of complaint-handling procedures, while concealing thousands of customer complaints, including reports of dangerous insulin dosing and severe hypoglycemia; some filings say the notice identified more than 18,000 unreported complaints. The lawsuits further allege that the FDA’s findings involved broader failures in quality management, investigation and reporting of device malfunctions, and corrective actions, culminating in a public warning letter. As concerns became public, Beta Bionics shares fell, including a reported sharp decline after the company disclosed weaker-than-expected new patient starts. Investors seeking to lead the proposed class must apply by November 3, 2026; the allegations have not been established in court.
