Bills bring back Tre'Davious White to practice squad
The Buffalo Bills brought cornerback Tre’Davious White back to their practice squad for a third stint as they look for help for a secondary weakened by injuries and inconsistent play. Coach Joe Brady said White’s experience and familiarity with the team could be valuable, but emphasized that a chance to join the active roster is not guaranteed and White will need to earn an opportunity. White, who has recovered from multiple season-ending injuries, said Buffalo is home and hopes to contribute as a veteran presence, including by encouraging young cornerback Maxwell Hairston after his reduced role. The move comes as Buffalo’s pass defense ranks among the league’s worst.
