Stars shut out Blackhawks 4-0 ending Chicago win streak

The Dallas Stars shut out the Chicago Blackhawks 4-0 at the United Center, ending Chicago’s two-game winning streak and leaving the team 3-6-0. Jake Oettinger stopped all 19 shots for his third shutout in six starts, while Arttu Hyry scored twice and Jason Robertson and Roope Hintz added goals. Dallas pulled ahead with Robertson’s power-play goal early in the second period, then capitalized on Chicago’s defensive mistakes and limited its scoring chances. Blackhawks players and coach Jeff Blashill pointed to giveaways, sloppy puck handling and missed opportunities as areas to address during the team’s five-day break.
