Blood drives draw donors, more planned

Several community blood drives are seeking donors: ImpactLife and Troy United Methodist Church will hold a drive in Troy on Nov. 9 to help strengthen supplies ahead of Thanksgiving, while an EHS Medical Occupations Club drive conducted by Versiti filled all signup slots, with 64 students registered. An American Red Cross drive is scheduled for Oct. 28 at the John T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center, and Navajo County is partnering with Vitalant for a local drive. Donors can schedule through the organizations’ websites; the Myrtle Beach event is offering donors a $10 e-gift card.
