Bloomberg, Traders Reportedly Pay for Faster Trump Posts
Truth Social has reportedly sold Bloomberg and high-frequency trading firms Susquehanna International Group and Jump Trading faster access to President Donald Trump’s posts through a paid API service that can cost up to $100,000 a month. Because Trump’s posts can move markets, the service may give subscribers an advantage over ordinary investors. The arrangement has drawn ethical and legal scrutiny: a lawsuit seeks to prevent the White House from posting official government announcements exclusively on a platform that sells faster access, arguing the practice could unfairly restrict access to public information. Trump Media says its API is an industry-standard product, disputes the reporting as misleading, and says it takes customer confidentiality seriously.
