Boeing Engineers Union Backs Contract With Larger Wage Increases

The union representing Boeing’s engineers and technical employees has recommended that members accept the company’s latest contract offer, setting the stage for a ratification vote. The Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace and Boeing reached a tentative four-year agreement that includes larger general wage increases than the initial proposal, which members rejected in an earlier vote. Boeing shares rose about 2% following the recommendation.
