Bomb Threats Target Flights Across Europe
Authorities investigated a new wave of bomb threats against flights across Europe on Friday, including nine aircraft arriving at or departing from Prague, all of which were grounded for inspection. No explosives had been found in the Prague checks reported so far, and officials said security measures were designed to limit disruption; a similar set of threats the previous day also yielded no dangerous items. Threats were also reported against flights in Sofia, Copenhagen and over French airspace, while a Wizz Air flight from Prague to Rome diverted to Venice and landed safely. The incidents follow earlier threats that prompted emergency landings and inspections, with authorities investigating their origins and assessing the alerts.
