Bombardier to acquire MHI Canada Aerospace plant amid push for higher jet output

Bombardier announced it will acquire the assets of MHI Canada Aerospace in Mississauga, bringing in-house control of MHICA’s aerostructures operations. The deal covers a 270,000-square-foot plant and about 750 employees, with terms undisclosed and closing expected later this year subject to regulatory approvals.
