Bombardier unveils $50 million Wichita training center
Bombardier is investing about $50 million in its Wichita operations, including a new North American Learning Center for training newly hired aircraft technicians and mechanics. The center will provide hands-on instruction with Bombardier aircraft and help ensure employees receive consistent, specialized training. The investment also includes infrastructure upgrades and expanded manufacturing and component-repair capabilities, such as a larger wheel and tire shop. Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly attended the center’s unveiling and said rigorous training is essential in an industry where precision and safety are critical.
