Book festivals plan fall author events across regions

Book festivals and fairs are bringing readers, authors and literary communities together in Kentucky, Burlington, Logan, Jacksonville and Huntsville. Kentucky’s 45th annual festival on Nov. 7 will feature more than 100 authors, presentations and children’s programming, with a special focus on Kentucky writers; Huntsville’s Great Big Book Festival, also on Nov. 7, will offer free author-led programs, local vendors and a ticketed keynote with Ariel Lawhon. Burlington’s November BurlLITFest plans author talks, writing workshops and children’s events, while Logan Bookfest will showcase local authors and family-friendly activities at a free Oct. 24 gathering. In Jacksonville, Our Town Books’ Halloween-themed All Hallows Booook Fair will feature independent authors and spooky titles alongside themed activities and vendors.
