Bowling Fundraisers Span Communities, Support Local Causes

Several bowling events are bringing communities together for fundraising and service. The Sunrise Optimist Club of Yuma is hosting a November 15 fundraiser, while UPLIFT San Diego’s Let’s Roll tournament will support free tutoring, youth services and housing stability programs. Operation Adopt A Soldier is holding its third annual Bowling for Soldiers event to raise money for care packages for deployed service members. In South Africa, the Vital Engineering Trips tournament raised funds for Benoni Lake Bowling Club’s expansion, and Norway High School LEO Club members volunteered at a Special Olympics bowling tournament, supporting athletes and helping create a welcoming event.
