Brass Ensembles Plan Concerts Across Five Regions

In Peebles, Brass Tracks will play a program spanning classical works, modern standards and Scottish music at the Eastgate Theatre on October 29; Connecticut Brass will offer a free October 25 concert in Southbury featuring composers from Bach to Elgar alongside popular tunes and marches. In Ontario, the Wallaceburg Brass Quintet and guest groups will bring more than 50 musicians together for a November 22 concert of holiday favorites. Melbourne’s Convent Sounds presents an outdoor, family-friendly brass concert on October 25, with music from the Baroque era to John Williams, while Beacon Brass Quintet will perform a wide-ranging program, including classical music, jazz and sea chanteys, in Winchester on October 30.
