Brewers-Rays Game 1 Tickets Fall, Near Record
Resale prices for the Brewers-Rays World Series have eased as Game 1 approaches, but Milwaukee tickets remain at levels that could set a record. TicketData put the Game 1 get-in price at $2,188 on Friday, above its tracked World Series record of $1,809, while other estimates and listings varied by provider; Ticket Club also reported a sharp decline from earlier-week prices. The extraordinary demand reflects Milwaukee’s first World Series appearance in 44 years and the chance for either franchise to win its first championship. Tickets for potential games in Tampa were also costly, with listed prices generally starting around $744 to $920 through the MLB site and major resale platforms. Prices and availability may change, and later games will only be played if the series reaches them.
