Road repairs to begin Nov. 9 on Kentucky bridge and highways in Texas and Kansas
Repairs to the southbound U.S. 41 Twin Bridge in Henderson, Kentucky, are scheduled to begin Nov. 9 and continue through the week, with traffic shifting lanes midweek and the bridge closing Friday night as both directions share the northbound span. In Lubbock, Texas, pavement repairs on 34th Street between Alcove and Inler avenues are also set to start Nov. 9, with work expected to take about four weeks and possible delays. In Emporia, Kansas, a pavement-patching project on both directions of I-35 between U.S. 50 and the I-335/Kansas Turnpike interchange is expected to begin Nov. 9 and run through the end of December, with lane and occasional ramp closures.
