Brisbane 2032 CEO Cindy Hook to step down after contract ends
Cindy Hook will leave her role as CEO of the Brisbane 2032 Olympics and Paralympics organizing committee when her four-year contract ends in 2026. The committee said it will begin an immediate search for a successor, with an appointment expected in the coming months. Hook said the organization had established the foundations for the Games and that the handover comes as preparations shift from planning and capability-building to operational delivery, with venue construction underway. Brisbane 2032 President Andrew Liveris praised Hook for building the committee and its leadership, governance and financial practices, while Hook said she looks forward to seeing the Games take shape.
