Brolin and Renner to Star in Thriller Based on Fisherman's 2013 Ordeal

Josh Brolin and Jeremy Renner will star in A Speck in the Sea, a survival thriller based on the real-life ordeal of Montauk lobster fisherman Johnny Aldridge, who fell overboard in the Atlantic at night in 2013. Brolin will play Aldridge, while Renner will portray his fishing partner and best friend, Anthony Sosinski, who discovers him missing and launches a multi-state rescue effort. Oscar-winning director Orlando von Einsiedel will direct a screenplay by Jeff Pope. 193 is handling international sales at the American Film Market.
