Broncos Sign Cam Ross to Practice Squad
With Pat Bryant sidelined by an ankle injury, the Broncos have four healthy wide receivers on their active roster and are assessing ways to add depth. Denver has brought Cam Ross back to its practice squad, where he offers preseason experience as a receiver and returner, and is also working out free agent Jamari Thrash. The team could elevate a practice squad receiver, with Lil’Jordan Humphrey identified as a leading option, or pursue a veteran such as Gabe Davis, Curtis Samuel, Josh Reynolds, River Cracraft or Zay Jones. Bryant would have to miss at least four games if placed on injured reserve.
