Broncos Stick With Bo Nix Amid Slump
The Broncos’ 4-2 start has masked a struggling offense and weak ground game, prompting speculation that they could pursue Colts running back Jonathan Taylor. Analysts argue Taylor could give Denver a major boost, especially as Indianapolis’ poor season and front-office turmoil raise questions about whether the team might sell; however, Taylor’s recently extended contract and substantial cap charges could make a deal difficult. Denver has not considered replacing quarterback Bo Nix, despite his slump, and coach Sean Payton says better offensive-line play and a more balanced rushing attack should help him improve. Nix has also said his ankle is nearly back to full health.
