Brooks & Dunn Play Free Anniversary Concert
Brooks & Dunn celebrated the 35th anniversary of their 1991 debut album, “Brand New Man,” with a surprise free performance at Loser’s Bar & Grill in Nashville on Oct. 20. The duo opened with the album’s title track, their first No. 1 hit, playing to a crowd of hundreds gathered in the venue’s parking lot and on nearby rooftops. The landmark album helped define ’90s country music, spawning four consecutive No. 1 singles, including “Boot Scootin’ Boogie.” Its first-ever vinyl pressing was scheduled for release Oct. 23 and had already sold out.
