Bulls beat Timberwolves 133-116 in preseason finale
The Chicago Bulls beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 133-116 in both teams’ preseason finale, with Chicago’s starters playing much of the first half against a Minnesota lineup missing its key players. Rookie Caleb Wilson led the Bulls with 16 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks, while Matas Buzelis, Josh Giddey and Leonard Miller also contributed in a balanced performance. Chicago built its advantage with scoring in the paint and strong play from its young rotation, though its perimeter shooting and defense had uneven stretches. For Minnesota, Isaiah Evans scored 21 points, and Jaylen Clark and Drew Timme added 18 apiece; Joan Beringer also offered an encouraging defensive showing. The Bulls open the regular season at Toronto, while the Timberwolves begin at Miami.
