Eaton to Invest $242M in North Little Rock Factory
Eaton plans to invest more than $242 million to build a 1,000,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in North Little Rock to produce customized electrical enclosures for its Fibrebond business, aiming to double U.S. capacity and create about 1,200 new jobs across manufacturing, electrical, and operations. The project, expanding Eaton’s Fibrebond footprint to meet rising demand in data centers, utilities, industrial sites, and digital networks, is supported by Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders and local leaders who cited Arkansas’s business climate and a collaborative site-selection process among AEDC, the City of North Little Rock, and the Metro Little Rock Alliance. Construction is expected to ramp up in 2028, with hiring opportunities announced as they become available. The announcement highlights Eaton’s commitment to strengthening U.S. manufacturing capacity and delivering faster, more reliable power infrastructure for customers. The plan is positioned as a milestone for North Little Rock and central Arkansas, signaling continued regional growth and workforce development.
