Skydance Offers Buyouts, Sets Five-Day Office Policy
Skydance co-CEOs David Ellison and Ynon Kreiz have ordered employees across the newly merged company to work in the office five days a week, saying in-person collaboration will strengthen its culture and creative work. Eligible employees who do not want to make the shift or see a future at the company can consider a one-time voluntary buyout with individualized terms. The moves are part of efforts to integrate the businesses and pursue a targeted $6 billion in operational efficiencies. Layoffs are possible, but executives say they do not expect most savings to come from staff reductions.
