CLiC Smart Glass Wins Wisconsin Manufacturing Contest

CLiC Smart Privacy Glass, made by Cardinal IG in Tomah, won Wisconsin’s 2026 Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin contest after more than 100 products were nominated and voters narrowed the field to four finalists. The annual competition, run by Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce with BMO, uses public voting and a bracket-style tournament. CLiC switches between clear and private at the touch of a button, using liquid-crystal technology designed to provide quick privacy without films or haze. Cardinal IG said its team spent more than 13 years developing the product for residential and commercial windows.
