Amazon Partners With Uber Eats for Prime Delivery
Amazon has made Uber Eats its U.S. restaurant-delivery partner for Prime members, who can order through Amazon’s website or app using their existing accounts without creating an Uber account. The benefit covers hundreds of thousands of restaurants in nearly 10,000 U.S. cities and towns, with delivery fees waived on orders of $25 or more; other service fees may apply. New users can get $20 off each of their first two qualifying orders during their first 14 days, and Prime Visa cardholders earn 5% back on Uber Eats orders through Dec. 5, 2026. Amazon and Uber estimate the benefit and promotions could save members more than $175 annually, though actual savings will vary. The deal replaces Amazon’s Grubhub+ perk, which ended Thursday, and gives Uber access to Amazon’s Prime customer base amid intensifying food-delivery competition.
