Cancer returns; Iowa governor’s husband recovers after surgery

Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds said her husband, Kevin Reynolds, is recovering from surgery to remove a brain tumor after his cancer returned following three years in remission. He was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2023 and will begin radiation treatment. The governor said their family is grateful for its medical team and support, and will face the next phase of treatment together.
