Candidate forums set for Bemidji, Baxter Springs and Fayetteville

Several communities are hosting candidate events to help voters hear from people seeking office. In Bemidji, Beltrami County Republicans scheduled a meet-and-greet with U.S. Rep. Pete Stauber and state legislators ahead of the Nov. 3 midterm election. Baxter Springs’ Chamber of Commerce invited gubernatorial candidates Cindy Holscher and Ty Masterson to a public meet-and-greet, while Caldwell County planned a forum featuring candidates for four local offices, with in-person, radio and online access. In Fayetteville, voters were also hearing from city council candidates as early voting began.
