Cardinals Trade Marvin Harrison Jr. to Texans
After trading Marvin Harrison Jr. to Houston, the struggling Cardinals could make further roster moves before the trade deadline. Potential trade candidates include quarterbacks Jacoby Brissett and Gardner Minshew, running back James Conner, and defenders Budda Baker and Josh Sweat; former Cardinals executive Adrian Wilson said he would consider dealing Baker and Sweat for draft capital. Wilson argued Arizona’s defensive struggles reflect a shortage of elite players more than a flawed scheme. Former general manager Steve Keim, meanwhile, questioned whether the team moved too quickly on Harrison, saying it could have started rookie Carson Beck first to assess his fit with the receiver before deciding their futures.
