Career fairs in Ireland, Bangladesh and US draw nearly 160 employers
Several career and job fairs are bringing employers together with students and job seekers across different regions. Dundalk Institute of Technology’s largest-ever careers fair hosted nearly 80 employers, offering students and graduates opportunities to explore jobs, internships, placements and international work across numerous sectors. In Bangladesh, BRAC University’s two-day national career fair also featured 80 employers, with students able to meet recruiters, submit résumés, interview and get career advice. In the United States, fairs in El Dorado, Arkansas, and Medford, Oregon, will connect job seekers with more than 40 and nearly 50 employers, respectively, across industries including health care, construction, manufacturing and finance. Lowestoft’s autumn jobs fair will include employers such as Sizewell C and Suffolk Constabulary, alongside advice on training, benefits and self-employment.
