Cedar Point Coaster Part Falls Into Guest Area
A metal bracket came loose from a car on Cedar Point’s Millennium Force roller coaster in Sandusky, Ohio, on Oct. 16, falling into a guest area and narrowly missing two visitors seated nearby. No injuries were reported, and the coaster was temporarily closed while the park conducted maintenance inspections and required safety checks. Cedar Point reopened the ride the following evening and said guest and employee safety remains its highest priority. The incident drew added attention amid other recent safety-related controversies involving rides at parks owned by Six Flags.
