Stellis Health shareholders back CentraCare merger targeted for 2027
Stellis Health, a physician-owned provider serving Buffalo, Monticello and nearby communities for 75 years, plans to become part of CentraCare, a Minnesota health system with nine hospitals and more than 30 clinics. Stellis shareholders have approved moving forward, but the organizations must finalize agreements and receive regulatory review and approval; they are targeting Jan. 1, 2027, with operational integration expected to happen over time. The organizations say the partnership builds on existing collaboration and is intended to better coordinate primary, specialty and hospital care. Stellis clinics will continue operating as usual, and patients can keep seeing their current providers while plans are finalized.
