Child-Material Arrests Reported in Two Lincolns
Timothy Topil, a 60-year-old man from Lincoln, Nebraska, was arrested and charged with possessing child sexual abuse material. The report that led to the case came from his wife, who said she found the material on electronic devices. The devices were in a camper near Branched Oak Lake. A search of thumb drives and a tablet from the camper uncovered dozens of images and videos. One report said Topil admitted possessing and downloading the material. That admission is attributed to a single account. The charge carries a potential sentence of up to 20 years in prison. The investigation is continuing. The arrest centers on the material recovered from the thumb drives and the tablet after the wife's report from the camper near Branched Oak Lake. No further court action is described.
