Chili cook-offs draw crowds in Fresno, Ludlow and Orange Beach

Communities in Fresno, Orange Beach, Ludlow and Clinton County are bringing people together through chili cook-offs and a fall chili supper. Fresno’s ninth annual Avila’s Cancer Fund cook-off raised proceeds to support cancer patients in need, while Ludlow’s 35th annual Rotary Club event drew more than 500 chili fans. Orange Beach’s senior center is preparing its second cook-off, where seven senior organizations will compete and attendees will judge the entries, with live music and free grilled cheese also planned. Camp Cullom’s fall chili supper celebrates the season and supports the camp, which is owned by the Children of Clinton County.
