Choice Hotels Opens Six Properties, Portfolio Tops 300

Choice Hotels International has opened six upscale U.S. properties: two Cambria hotels in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Jacksonville, Florida, and four Ascend Collection hotels in Sarasota, Florida; Mishicot, Wisconsin; and Peru, Vermont. The additions range from Sarasota hotels sharing resort-style amenities to a Wisconsin property with extensive event space and a Vermont lodge offering winter ski access. Choice says its upscale portfolio now includes more than 300 open U.S. hotels, with nearly 150 more in development across its brands.
