Churches Advance Outreach Across Multiple Regions
Church leaders and congregations are pursuing varied ways to strengthen ministry and share their faith. In Kentucky, Rev. Elizabeth Smith says she hopes to support African American churches and clergy, amplify their voices, and address challenges including declining congregations and limited support. Georgia Baptists plan a conference offering pastors practical evangelism strategies, while Kentucky Catholic parishes report connecting with people through booths at local festivals. A Christian Standard essay urges pastors navigating political division to lead with curiosity, resilience, and a focus on the gospel rather than hostility. Separately, organizers of DC Gospel Outreach shared a report on their evangelism campaign in Washington and their plans for its future.
