Incumbent local officials in several communities are seeking re-election, emphasizing continued service and unfinished work. Pemberton councillor Jennie Helmer says continuity is important as the municipality addresses infrastructure, growth, flood management and wildfire preparedness. In Shreveport, District A councilwoman Tabatha Taylor is campaigning on economic development, housing, public safety and city-worker wages, while challenger Hahn Williams stresses prioritizing residents and businesses. Bartlesville councilor Jim Curd highlights child-care shortages, downtown and small-business development, recreation amenities and the search for a new city manager; Oak Ridge council members Charlie Hensley and Ellen Smith say they want to continue serving after years on council.
