Clemson Lineman Thurmon Stretchered Off After Collision
Clemson offensive lineman Elyjah Thurmon was stretchered off the field after a head-to-head collision with a Florida State linebacker during Saturday’s game in Tallahassee. Medical staff attended to him for several minutes as players and coaches from both teams gathered nearby, with many kneeling in support. Thurmon gave the crowd a thumbs-up as he was taken away; Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said at halftime that Thurmon was responsive and moving. He was taken by ambulance to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for further evaluation, with his mother accompanying him. His injury and condition were not yet fully known.
