Cold Snap Brings Frost Risk Across U.S. Regions
A blast of colder air is expected to bring unusually chilly weekend weather across several regions. In South Korea, morning temperatures are forecast to fall below freezing in parts of the country, with strong winds and rain expected in central areas on Sunday. In the United States, forecasters warn of possible frost and near-freezing temperatures in northern Alabama and inland areas near Chicago, while a cold front will bring cooler conditions to Texas, with parts of the Panhandle potentially reaching freezing. The cold spells are expected to ease, with warmer-than-average temperatures forecast later in November in parts of the U.S.
