Colleges, city plan community open houses

The College of New Caledonia is holding a fall open house at its Prince George campus on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 3 to 7 p.m., welcoming prospective students, families and community members—including people considering a career change or new skills. Visitors can explore more than 80 programs, tour campus, meet instructors and students, and take part in demonstrations and hands-on activities. Staff will also share information about student services, financial aid, academic advising and transfer options. Attendees can receive a code to waive the application fee and enter a draw for a $1,000 tuition credit.
